The College of Arts and Law of the university offers several scholarships for candidates wishing to study full- and part-time masters-level courses from September 2024. These awards are for all masters-level degrees in the following schools:
- English, Drama, American and Canadian Studies
- History and Cultures (including fees-only scholarships offered through the Birmingham Research Institute for History and Cultures Masters Scholarships).
- Languages, Cultures, Art History and Music
- Law
- Philosophy, Theology and Religion

Scholarship Value: Covers tuition fees, up to full fees
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to UK/EU students for campus-based masters-level degrees in the College of Arts and Law starting in September.
- International students are eligible, with a reduction in tuition fees equivalent to the home/EU rate if successful.
- Funding applications must accompany a study application.
Application Procedure
- Interested candidates must first complete an application to study in any department of your choosing.
- He/ She will then complete the online application form specifically in the department you have chosen, supported by two references.
Value of the Scholarship
Successful applicants will receive financial support ranging from $2,000 to a full tuition fees waiver from the University.
