The Centre for Health and Healthcare established by the World Economic Forum (WEF) is actively hiring young professionals for the Healthy Workforces Initiative. This initiative focuses on promoting the physical and mental health of employees through evidence-based workforce health solutions. It involves a collaboration of over 50 organizations across sectors, working together to identify and advocate for proven workplace health practices that enhance employee wellbeing and productivity.
The Centre for Health and Healthcare initiative adopts a comprehensive approach, addressing key aspects such as nutrition, exercise, mental health, preventative care, and work-life balance. It incorporates insights from leading research organizations and technology partners to spotlight cutting-edge and impactful practices for employers to implement. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on evidence-based environmental and policy changes that can improve access and reduce barriers to critical health services.
Application Requirements
Recent graduates, preferably with a master’s degree and up to 2 years of cumulative professional experience.
Applicants are to provide an updated resume and a cover letter indicating the desired role and reasons for consideration.
Conditions and Benefits
- Full-time onsite employment for 6 months at the World Economic Forum Geneva office.
- Start dates between April 1 and April 30, 2024.
- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4,400 (CHF 4,050 salary plus CHF 350 health benefits).
- Provision of necessary technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses.
- Immigration and minimal relocation support.
The selected candidate will be part of the Centre for Health and Healthcare, focusing on the Healthy Workforces Initiative. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and executing events, stakeholder communication, internal processes, logistics, desk research, landscape analysis, and publication support.
Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Master’s degree in Public Health or Public Policy.
- Up to 2 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, events planning (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and Salesforce is an advantage.

- Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
