World Economic Forum (WEF) Early Career Program: Centre for Cybersecurity

The Centre for Cybersecurity (C4C) established by the World Economic Forum is actively hiring young professionals in the cybersecurity roles. The center emphasizes the critical importance of cybersecurity as a strategic priority and endeavors to drive global public-private action in addressing systemic cybersecurity challenges. Currently collaborating with over 150 organizations from both public and private sectors, the C4C plays a crucial role in securing our digital future.
Role and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing the weekly team meeting and ensuring there is a compelling agenda and capture of takeaways. Follow up with team members to ensure identified next steps are actioned
- Updating and maintaining internal documents and processes (Box Folder, C4C events calendar, organizational chart etc.)
- Providing ad-hoc support for Project teams including on initiatives and virtual meetings
- End-to-end coordination of operational and logistical elements pertaining to the Annual Meeting on Cybersecurity including coordination with various internal teams such as hospitality, registration, events and security teams etc.
- Creation of Salesforce Marketing Cloud email invitation, and other SFMC communications such as the C4C Newsletter
Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Technology or International Relations.
- Previous professional experience, such as an internship in a relevant business or not-for-profit organization, including consulting or academia.
- Prior responsibilities related to project management/coordination or event management.
Desired Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with a diverse community.
- Proficiency in analyzing data and news sources, demonstrating an ability to develop high-quality reports.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Application Guidance
The application is suited for recent graduates, preferably at the master’s level, with up to 2 years of cumulative professional experience.

Conditions and Benefits of the Early Careers Program
- Full-time onsite employment for 6 months at the World Economic Forum Geneva office.
- Start dates between April 1 and April 30, 2024.
- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4,400 (CHF 4,050 salary plus CHF 350 health benefits).
- Provision of necessary technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses.
- Immigration and minimal relocation support.
