The Goethe Institut Talents Scholarship is currently receiving applications from young musicians to participate in their 10 years cooperation anniversary celebration. The Goethe Talents program is a 12-day program, in collaboration with »Pop-Kultur«, that aims to support and connect young, aspiring musical artists, including singer-songwriters and composers.
Requirements:
- Musicians between approximately 20 and 30 years of age.
- Solid experience in the field of music.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Playing an instrument or involved in any musical genre.
- From a transitioning or so-called developing country.

Program Details:
- The program includes studio visits, group jam sessions, trainings in selected creative industries; listening sessions, and meetings with scholarship holders of the Musicboard Berlin GmbH.
- Participation in »Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs«, the official talent program of the festival.
- Intensive studio collaborations of all Goethe Talents 2024 participants.
- Experience the full program of »Pop-Kultur« Live.
- Participation in the Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs program taking place on August 28th-30th at Kulturbrauerei Berlin.
Benefits:
- Covered participation fee, accommodation, travel expenses, and hospitality (per diem) from August 22nd to September 2nd, 2024.
- Goethe-Institut will cover flights and assist with visa appointments.
- Musicboard Berlin will provide a free festival ticket; access to Pop-Kultur’s networking area; accommodation (with breakfast); health insurance; and public transportation within Berlin.
